CES Expands Portfolio and Embraces Industry Leadership Role

DALLAS — June 9, 2005 — Cirro Energy Services is purchasing rival Comperio Energy, Inc. Under the agreement, CES will acquire Comperio’s portfolio of brokerage clients including several blue chip Texas companies. The company will also assume a major role in a key consumer advocacy group that promotes the benefits of deregulation. CES helps high volume electricity consumers reduce power costs through a combination of energy procurement, value-added energy usage analysis and auditing services.

“This is the first acquisition for CES and allows us to build upon the excellent services that Comperio has provided companies since the early stages of electric deregulation,” said Cirro Energy Services President Jeff Nottingham. “We’re pleased to offer our unique combination of resources and world-class expertise to Comperio’s roster of quality clients. This agreement includes clients within the commercial real estate, transportation, hospitality and medical industries, as well as religious institutions. CES will impact their bottom line by helping them fully realize the benefits of the deregulated energy marketplace.”

Jeff Nottingham and Executive Vice President Michael Cozzi founded CES earlier this year. The two have extensive experience in structuring successful energy solutions for large commercial and institutional accounts, as well as electricity deregulation and risk management of fluctuating energy markets. Their depth of experience, network of relationships and expanded menu of services, such as 4CP warnings and utility bill audits provides substantial value to clients.

Under this new arrangement, Cirro Energy Services will take a key leadership role in the Dallas – Fort Worth Electric Consumer Coalition. The company will actively participate in the group by managing its Web site, providing incremental funding for operations, offering guidance and handling many administrative duties. The coalition includes the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, 7-Eleven Corporation, Texas Instruments, the DFW Hospital Council and the Dallas Building Owners and Managers Association.

The acquisition of Comperio Energy by Cirro Energy Services was effective May 16, 2005. The agreement was finalized as of June 1, 2005. Texas commercial and industrial businesses interested in reducing their power costs should contact Mr. Nottingham at (972) 764-7293.
